Founded in 1971 it is today recognized as one of the foremost private meteorite collections in the world, representing rare witnessed falls, superb large irons, Lunar and Martian material, and historic specimens from the H.H. Nininger, Glenn Huss, Oscar Monnig, and Dupont collections.
